Outer space has been a theme on this tour. For some reason, we all seem to have this fascination with the unknown world beyond our own eyes. From telling stories about visiting Space Camp when I was younger, to listening to a TED talk from Jess’s astronaut friend, to sitting in awe at an IMAX movie titled MARS….one thing is for sure, we LOVE space.
All that being said, camping in Montana and falling asleep under the stars was simply dreamy. I spent entire nights gazing into the unknown galaxy in awe of the tiny bursts of light gleaming through the sky.
We stopped to camp for 2 nights as we traveled from Denver to Seattle. Evenings were spent roasting marshmallows over the fire, telling childhood stories and reminiscing the most hilarious moments on tour.
From swimming in rivers to hiking mountains, it was incredible. We even hitchhiked, thanks to a kind stranger and his 2 fluffy puppy dogs. At the end of the day, it was amazing to escape technology for just a bit, soak in the winding mountain roads and watch the sunset in one of the most beautiful places in the country.
Thanks for your authentic beauty, Montana, especially for your millions of stars that still leave me completely in awe.
